Who you are hiring

Edward has remodeled Pittsburgh homes since 1992.

Edward moved to Pittsburgh from Russia in 1992 and has remodeled homes here ever since. Vova Kazan joined him after coming from Russia in 2007.

The team handles powder rooms, full renovations, kitchens, decks, basements, attics, drywall and other home remodeling work.

Kitchen remodeling

The room everything else in the house runs through.

Cabinets, counters, tile, and the plumbing and electrical behind all of it. Tell Edward how you want the room to work and he will make note of exactly what you want done before anything is priced.

Bathroom remodeling

Full baths and powder rooms, opened up and closed back in.

The wall comes open, the supply and drain lines get set, moisture board goes in behind the tile, and it all closes back up. It is the part of a bathroom you never see again, and it is the part that decides how the room ages.

Kitchen in a South Side Pittsburgh home remodeled by Edward Construction

Home remodeling

Whole-house renovations, basements, attics, drywall, and partial jobs. On the South Side, that meant taking an old house all the way down to the studs and handling the permits and code work on the way back up.

Deck construction

Deck construction planned around the house connection, yard grade, railing and stairs to the ground.

The middle of the job

Most of a remodel happens before anything looks finished.

Rough plumbing, moisture board, and a hundred small alignments that never show once the tile is on. It is the least photogenic part of a remodel and the part that matters longest.

What customers said

“We just had Edward Construction do a complete remodel all the way down to the studs on an old house in the South Side.

The work was completed on time and looks great! Edward took care of all the permitting and code needs. Edward was available to meet and talk any time about any issues or changes that came up with this old place. He gave us honest estimates and stuck to them. I highly recommend Edward Construction for your remodeling needs. Thanks Edward.”

Bob

“We used Edward twice in 2012. Once to convert an old kitchen into a laundry room/mud room & bathroom. And another time to finish off part of our basement. We had an excellent experience working with Edward both times. He came to work when he said he would, always told us the work he planned to accomplish that day, and completed the job in a timely manner. Communication with Edward was great and his price was fair. We plan on using him for future projects.”

Homeowner review

“Kitchen, bathroom, deck, wood floors, dining room. All projects were done with excellent care and craftsmanship and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Takes the time to do things right and provides great communication throughout the whole process. We get compliments on our house all the time now and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Edward Construction to friends, family and neighbors. Very fair on pricing and willing to work with us on unique building materials.”
